Just found a great new fashion inspiration website LOOKBOOK.nu. I was sold by their tagline “collective fashion consciousness,” sold by the idea behind it- democratizing fashion inspiration and officially S-O-L-D by this whimsical $0.50 Chanel Bag (recessionista couture— loves it!).
I think we would all agree that we draw our fashion sensibilities from an array of sources. For me it’s vintage, it’s the Goodwill downtown, my subway ride on the L, mi madre, strangers at the Brooklyn Flea, fellow fashion bloggers like SammyD and Lizzie-Jeanne, but also by sites like these.
