permalink Halloween comes early in Park Slope! Last night after a rained out flea (more on that later), I took a much needed break to hang out at Union Hall. Unbeknownst to me, the evening was costume-themed (see photo above). While I came as myself… well… others came fully decked out. This guy had the haute-ess costume - hands down!
Decked out as Björk (ca. 2001 Oscars), this handsome gent was totally working the room. The best part about it? His costume was totally DIY, from the plummage on the neck to the bedazzled beak, which was pretty fond of me.
I’ve never done a 100% DIY costume, but in light of this new vintage venture, I’m thinking that I’m going to shoot for a 100% vintage-inspired costume. Who’s with me? All that’s left to be done is to figure out what I’ll be…
