When life gets in the way of your tumblarity… aka why Happy Hill Vintage has been on hiatus!
After a month of not blogging, I guess it’s only fair to be greated with a big fat “0” courtesy of tumblr. The “0” of course referring to my tumblarity as of late. Whoops. I’m not hatin’… I’m just sayin’
In truth, I’ve been up a lot more than the current state of this blog can attest to. A few personal highlights:
1.) I took a fall roadtrip to Lancaster, PA with my right hand vintagista Sammy D of SammyDVintage. Video and photos to come
2.) I made a DIY Halloween Costume and added a bit of chic to the character Max from Where the Wild Things Are. Photos to come (hah!)
3.) I recieved the strangest delivery in the post. A mannequin. Etsy to come! Perhaps before the holidays ; )
4.) I started selling Happy Hill Vintage goods at Artists and Fleas, an indoor flea market in Brooklyn.
5.) … oh yeah… I’ve been planning a HUGE vintage-inspired bazaar here in New York City featuring my vintage designs along with Sammy’s, hand-made stationary from my college buddy Laura Trimble (LATinStudio) and hand-crafted jewelry from Kim Last Designs. New York Magazine’s The Cut, the ultimate guide on what’s haute in fashion in NYC, just picked up the event as a ‘must attend’ this weekend. More on that tomorrow…
All that to say…
31 days hiatus, 5 big developments for Happy Hill Vintage, 2 ladies still running the show, and a 0 tumblarity… time to dust of the dashboard.
WE’RE BACK!
xoxo
